OUR VINEYARDS

We believe the old saying that wine is made in the vineyard and consider ourselves farmers and grape growers first.

With a hands on approach in the vineyard, we tend to our vines personally and do our best to produce fruit that embody the perfect balance between taste and character.

With a deep-rooted dedication to our craft, we oversee every stage of growth, ensuring the utmost care for our vines while safeguarding and enhancing the natural environment surrounding us.

Each vineyard is a new chapter of our story, always evolving.

Milea winery view from above

Milea single vineyard is our home. the winery is located in the village of Argalasti, 300 meters above sea level, between two seas. The Aegean Sea to the east and the Pagasetic Gulf to the west provide us with cool temperatures during the growing season.

Our vineyard here was planted in 2008 and consists of red clay soil, which is dry-farmed, meaning we don’t irrigate the vines, making them work hard and dig deep to reach for water, building character and resilience in the process.

This is where we cultivate Chardonnay, Merlot and Pinot Noir grapes for our signature estate-grown wines.

Merlot and Syrah vineyard

16ria Agios Nicolaos is our oldest and original family vineyard, located in the village of Vounaina, where Lazaros and his family originate.

Syrah and Merlot vines were planted here more than 25 years ago on sandy, rocky well-drained soil.

The harshness of this hot and dry site is tempered by the cold nights and foggy mornings, that deliver structured wine with ripe black fruit, minerals and spices.

Strivo is our youngest vineyard and the latest addition to the winery, situated in the primary winegrowing area of South Pelion near Argalasti village. It sits on top of a windswept hill 300 meters above sea level overlooking the Pagasetic Gulf. There, on sandy, loamy soils, with great sun exposure, we cultivate Asyrtiko, an ancient Greek variety with mouth-watering bone dry acidity and a mineral aftertaste.
